Do I need to install a software solution?
No, Newsline is a web-based email marketing software tool, so all you need is an Internet connection with a browser. Then you login with a username and a password provided by Concept.

How long does it take to set up an account?
Within 24 hours (if funds received) during a working week your account can be set up.

What are the payment facilities?
You can pay by Purchase Order, Cheque or Standing Order if you choose the subscription for one year.

Are my user name and password safe?
Yes they are. They have been provided to you by Concept and are unique. Please treat them with care.

Is my distribution list safe?
Your distribution(s) list(s) is hosted on our secure server and it is updated automatically.

Why do I have to pay an annual licence?
The annual licence comprises the set-up of Newsline, the hosting of your template(s) and the telephone support.

What is the refund policy?
As a company policy, we do not provide refunds for unused credits. We reserve the right to shut down campaigns at any time, if we feel that you are abusing our system.

Do you offer non profit discounts?
As a charity, you are entitled to 10% discount on the monthly fee and on the annual licence fee as long as you provide us a proof of eligibility (registration number for example). The first 50 subscribers are always free whatever your status.

What kind of support do I have?
You can contact us by filling the form specifying your request (support) and you will get a reply within 24 hours; or by calling 01355 230099, Monday to Friday 9 am till 5pm.

What kind of personalised template can I have?
You have a large range of possibilities with e-bulletins, e-flyers, e-invitations, e-cards, with logo design, animations and video footage. Depending on the amount of time needed, Concept will provide a quotation for the work involved for a customized template to send your personalised email.

Can I use my current email list?
Yes, you just need to upload it onto the system as long as it is a CSV file or a text file, once you’ve created an account.

How many email newsletters I am allowed to send out?
You can send as many email marketing newsletters as you want, you are just limited by the number of subscribers on your distribution list(s).

How do subscribers unsubscribe?
Each email you send using Newsline has an unsubscribe link appended to it. If a subscriber wishes to unsubscribe, they just has to send an email and they will be removed from the distribution list.

How do I get new subscribers?
As a permission-based email marketing software tool, the Newsline subscription form template can be embedded onto your website. The form can be easily implemented and redesigned on request. The subscriber will then receive confirmation that he has been unsubscribed from your list.

Will I receive bounced return emails from invalid addresses?
Newsline helps you to manage your distribution list by automatically removing any invalid email address saving you a lot of time from clearing up your inbox of bounced emails!

How do I know if emails that I sent out were received?
Newsline is an email marketing tracking software tool which provides statistics of sent newsletters and reports the percentage of emails opened per mail shot, how many were sent, how many website click throughs were generated, and who clicked on what links and who actually opened the email. All you have to do is to login onto your Newsline account.

Are the results accurate?
Unfortunately, no email marketing tracking software can guarantee 100% delivery. An email newsletter can be traced only if the subscriber wishes to receive the content in HTML. Organisations might have firewalls and spam filters which will prevent them from receiving email marketing newsletter according to the content. Also, people might have moved from the organisation or changed their email address.
